DMCi
SAP® Digital Manufacturing Cloud for insights (DMCi) is an Internet of Things (IoT) solution that is seamlessly integrated with the SAP® Business Technology Platform (BTP). SAP® DMCi is an analytics solution for manufacturing industries to analyze standard manufacturing KPIs using individually defined dashboards and personalized KPIs.The different on-premise & cloud based business systems can be connected, which are used as data sources. The relevant data is replicated from the source system to the HANA database and the KPIs are calculated based on the data from the source systems. The SAP® DMCi solution can connect to the shop floor through SAP® Plant Connectivity (PCo), to show real-time sensor data.
DMC REO (Resource Orchestration)
SAP® DMC Resource Orchestration (DMC REO) is a cloud-based scheduling tool that enables production personnel to schedule operations, labor & tools and monitor events on the shop floor.Production supervisors can schedule and dispatch operations to work centers and resources. DMC REO provides the flexibility to shop floor supervisors to perform planning and scheduling of operations so that the available resources are utilized effectively. They can respond immediately to events on the shop floor such as the breakdown of machinery or labor availability or unavailability, etc.The application offers a complete overview about the load assignment of resources. Production supervisors can allocate or deallocate operations assigned to resources based on factors such as order priority, demand situation, and resource availability.
AI / ML Scenario's Management
Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI / ML) Scenario's Management include scenarios that are based on machine learning models to help and automate manufacturing processes. New scenarios may be created that can be activated and managed at a central place based on simple configuration steps by business user. This solution simplifies the integration of Machine Learning pipeline for predictive quality use cases, such as Visual Inspection.
